Professor R. I. Sujith from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai (IIT, Chennai) (erstwhile Madras) is delivering a lecture on Thermo-acoustics on Thursday and Friday this week. Jonathon May, on behalf of Siemens, extends a warm welcome to all student and staff of Engineering. This is what he has to say:
“Professor Sujith is an expert in the prediction of thermoacoustics, and Siemens have paid for him to come to Lincoln to present to our combustion team. I’m very happy to extend a welcome to staff and PhD students at the university, but we couldn’t deal with more than a handful of additional attendees, nor could we handle lots of comings and goings. Please could people inform me that they wish to attend rather than simply turn up.”
